For all intents and purposes, this card's blitz effect might as well say deal two damage and draw a card. Unfortunately for Mayhem Patrol, that would make the card a lot better than it actually is. There will likely be some Limited games where this card happens to luckily blitz in for lethal thanks to menace, but barring that there's not much going on here. Mayhem Patrol is better off played for its normal cost, which is probably why its blitz cost equals its actual mana cost. Nonetheless, this card can possibly cantrip into something more useful in the late game. This Viashino creature-type bad boy is oozing with flavor, but we're not here to talk about how well mechanics mirror a card's story. The Requisitioner may appear underwhelming, but there's a reason this card's blitz cost actually costs more than its normal cast. The reason is treasure tokens are incredibly strong. While blitz is a mechanic that's likely going to make most of its rounds in Limited, these next two cards might just have a shot at Constructed through Standard. Tenacious Underdog is the first of the two, providing an aggressive body for two in the early game as well as some recursion at the cost of life later on. Last but certainly not least, we have Jaxis, the Troublemaker. This is a blitz card that really packs a punch. Again, it would have been nice to see this card printed with three power instead of three toughness, but that seems to be the theme with these blitz prints. Nonetheless, Jaxis' low blitz cost of two coupled with the use of its activated ability could lead to some interesting plays. At the cost of discarding a card, Jaxis essentially allows you to make a blitz copy of a creature you already have in play. All of the cards players have been tempted to copy with Fable of the Mirror-Breaker are good targets here, and, unlike Reflection, Jaxis doesn't require a four-turn setup. The two kids aren't crazy about relocating, but then 10-year-old Finn (Christian Martyn) and teenaged Alexis (Jodelle Ferland) aren't crazy about much except his video games and her cell phone. There's no big family gathering or vacation and Finn isn't left behind accidentally. He's not even alone, either, until Alexis gets locked in the basement. Still, there are bad guys outside trying to get in and one boy inside determined to protect his house. Like Lost in New York, this outing spends the most time and effort on the slapsticky climactic comeuppance. In many ways, that was the main event of the original film, the imaginative sequence that produced the big laughs. As one grows up, they find that childish part the film's weakest and one which nearly threatens to undo the good will earned by the fantastic premise. (Home Alone 2's big flaw is its drawn-out violence desperate to outdo the original's gags.) A full third of Holiday Heist is devoted to that element. It pays homage to Kevin McCallister's defense tactics (the icy walkway, tar, etc.) and invents some new ones (wrapping paper!) without going to extremes.This new sequel actually isn't nearly as bad as you think it will be. As an ABC Family original movie, the creative ceiling is only so high and this production doesn't even approach it. But the writers, TV and video game veterans Aaron Ginsburg and Wade McIntyre (Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, Fox's short-lived \"The Good Guys\"), seem content to loosely recreate the original movie's beats and not attempt anything too brazen or outrageous. After showing some promise (Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Tom and Huck, The Borrowers), director Peter Hewitt has struck out a lot with his most recent big screen fare like Garfield: The Movie and Zoom, but he seems comfortable helming a sequel distanced enough to create no positive expectations. None of the material is really funny or smart or surprising, but nor is it terrible enough to make you cringe and regret giving it your time. All ABC Family original movies should be as considerate. You may wonder how a made-for-TV fifth Home Alone movie was able to attract an actor as accomplished as Malcolm McDowell, but a look at his recent filmography reveals he isn't the most discerning of actors. Mazar, the other recognizable cast member, seems to have come full circle, as she seems willing to play comic villain as she did all the way back in 1993's Beethoven's 2nd. There is a noble precedent to this duty, after all, as Joe Pesci won an Oscar for Goodfellas (a Mazar connection!) the same time he could widely be seen taking a blowtorch to the head as Wet Bandits mastermind Harry Lime. The 1.78:1 widescreen picture is clearly the product of digital video on a budget, but it looks sufficiently polished and cinematic for a basic cable TV movie. In this episode, Lieutenant Tom Paris (Robert Duncan McNeill) becomes the first known person to travel faster than Warp 10; however, the achievement causes him to mutate into a salamander-like creature. Voyager's crew discovers a rare, more stable form of dilithium that they conjecture could power a warp drive beyond Warp 10. This would allow Voyager to reach the Alpha Quadrant near instantaneously. Although simulations prove disastrous, Lieutenant Paris (Robert Duncan McNeill) comes up with an idea after an off-the-cuff discussion with Neelix (Ethan Phillips). The next simulation is successful and a shuttlecraft, dubbed the Cochrane, is prepared for a full test flight. The Doctor (Robert Picardo) identifies a rare medical condition in Lieutenant Paris indicating a 2% chance that he will suffer lethal effects from the test-flight and recommends assigning Ensign Kim (Garrett Wang) as test-pilot. Paris convinces Captain Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) to allow him to fly the shuttle despite the small risk. A short time later, Kahn learns that his brother has backed out of the vacation, leaving him to pay the entire rent for the condo. He offers the Hills the opportunity to join his family on the trip. Peggy talks Hank into going along, as she is especially anxious to replace a papier mache pear she purchased as an exchange student. Kahn arrives at the condo first. The manager of the resort, Jacinto, shows Kahn around the unit. Jacinto explains that \"mitad\" means half--meaning Kahn must share the downstairs portion with Hank. Thinking quickly, Kahn tells Hank that the luxurious upstairs condo is for the Hill family. The next morning, Peggy, Luanne, and Minh tour a Mexican marketplace in search of papier-mache pears and illegal beauty secret supplies. Meanwhile, Connie and Bobby notice a curio shop that sells fireworks. They purchase a giant firecracker labeled \"La Bomba,\" not realizing that it is only a promotional display mockup, then light it and slip it inside the sign of an Italian fast-food restaurant. Taking cover behind a metal dumpster, the pair expectantly wait for an explosion that never comes. The shock of this revelation aside, the concept has been discussed ad nauseam by Cihan and Handan and even Nasuh. It was bound to happen. Miran is still burning with anger at his mother's supposed disgrace and brutal murder at the hands of Hazar and I am sure Azize will try to use Elif's marriage to add fuel to this fire. But now, with Shukran's presence at the Aslanbey mansion, Esma in full rebellion, and Reyyan safe to continue injecting her antidote to Azize's poison, Azize's task will not be as easy. And we can't forget the person or people who are sending Azize the blue notes. Nevertheless, our lovers will be in for a very tortuous ride in light of these events. As Supergirl, Kara has access to classified information that can only do her so much good before she runs the risk of exposing the DEO organization to the outside world. Obviously, outing the DEO to someone like Snapper (and by extension anyone who subscribes to Catco's news feeds) for the sake of an article would be a gross breach of trust between Supergirl's DEO family and friends on every conceivable level, and that's not our girl's way. It's a dilemma for sure, especially due to the fact that the article in question would serve as a warning to the alien populace that they're being hunted. Snapper's right though, you can't simply print a society-shattering front page story like that on Supergirl's word alone. Because honestly, if you're going to start a panic, you at least need credible sources and hard evidence to back up your claims before lighting the fuse. One of the team suffered an injury which led to him performing on crutches, but the team still brought thier A-game. Using a combination of shadow,light and music to draw attention to their moves, the werewolf-themed performance was certainly unique, while featured plenty of impressive breakdance moves to keep the crowd cheering. Sean and Kaycee are so in sync in every performance they out on, it can be hard to find fault in any of it. This routine felt slightly more subdied than some of their earlier routines, but it incorporated a pouring rain prop at the end that elevated the whole thing. Meanwhile, Zeb completed powering up the Ghost and the ship was able to take-off with its crew. Yushyn attempted to leave to man a cannon but was cornered by two purrgil. One of them grabbed him with its jaws and dragged him down into the depths of the planetoid below. Before leaving, the Ghost bombarded the asteroid refinery in order to deny it to the Empire, causing it to explode. At the collision site, Jon is organising everyone. Ponch is taking measurements. Jon looks at where Sindy crashed and asks Officer Anderson to review the scenario, he starts taking photos. Getraer arrives in a patrol car with Margolis. Jon and Ponch are still making measurements. Ponch writes notes in his pocket book and notices something on the ground and bends to pick it up. Getraer notices this and goes over to him and asks him about it. Ponch tells him it's just a letter 'R'. Getraer tells him to follow all leads. Getraer asks if they've figured out what happened with Sindy, Margolis comes up behind Getraer. Jon goes through the scenario about what happened that day. He tells them that when she was hit by the truck she put her foot on the accelerator not the brake and ended up in the gully. Jon tells them that what he doesn't understand is how she ended up on the trucks side and the truck was on her side. Margolis asks if they were to swear under oath that she didn't cause the accident. Silence ensues and Margolis walks away. Getraer calls Margolis a nuisance. He then asks Jon and Ponch if they know who Senator Bob Larwin is. Jon nods slightly. He tells them that he's jumping on this accident and that he's trouble. He tells them that everyone heard a siren but there were no code 3's reported in the area. They're going to check private ambulances but it will take time. He asks Jon if the heart attack victim could have caused it. Jon disagrees stating that he was coming from the East bound side and hit the truck when it had stopped, precipitated by a heart attack.
