Most brushes in the Megapack will work with the corresponding brush in the Repaired Brushes folder, but there are a few that will not. The older brushes were not optimized as the new brushes were being added. To get around this, the Repaired Brushes folder has already been created. Just login to Creative Cloud and make sure the Repaired Brushes folder is visible. Drag the brushes from that subfolder into the Megapack. This will overwrite the incorrect texture.
1. Make sure the brush is visible in the list of available brushes in the brush palette. 2. Lower the brush order number from the bottom of the list. 3. Click on the brush to bring the brush from the range to the top. 4. Check the "Include Brush Settings" (read on). Once the brush is in the right categories, right click the brush and duplicate and paste as many times as you need. 5. Drag and drop the duplicates into the Ren-No-Shine folder.
If the brush is not visible in the list accessible from the brush palette, then you have an older version of the brush (E.g. brush from PS CS6 or older). This needs to be repaired in the Repaired Brushes folder. Then the brush will be visible in the list of available brushes in the brush palette.
The brush needs to have at least one saved setting. If there is not a setting available, then that should be the first setting added. If you will be saving a lot of brushes, then the steps at the end of the post will make it easier. Any good image manipulation program has the ability to create custom sets of brushes. I find Paint Tool Sai to be able to create more brush sets than Photoshop. It is possible to make your brush set public and share it online. The clip art library is another option, but it is typically for simple objects such as rectangles, stars, and polygons.
I have continued to have issues with this file. They tell me this is a file that you "shouldn't be using if you are not working with this file as a preset and are creating with this file as a brush". I am working with this file as a brush, but this is not my first application (it was used in an invative application) and I have found that Photoshop CC is not working correctly with this file. d2c66b5586
