So I'm in the process of getting the card working in Windows, and if it does, I'll be able to confirm if the problem I'm having is with the card's Windows driver (and I can _then_ try to install Linux) or if it's something else.
I'm assuming it's simply a problem with Windows drivers not recognizing the card, but on the next PC I'll try it out and see if it works properly there. It was not immediately possible to install Linux on that PC and I'm not exactly confident in my ability to do it. I'll just boot it up and see if it recognizes it and do some research as to what the problem could be if any.
