Thank you so much for the response. After reading this, I also bought a copy of Windows 10 pro, as it is much preferred over Windows 7 pro. It is possible that the activation key was embedded in the OS copy of Windows 7. Now, I can successfully boot into Windows 7 ultimate. I'm just seeing if windows 10 BING activation can be done in this manner, or if I will need to use the media creation tool.

I bought the OS from Microsoft Store... so I guess if you are worrying to buy a OEM copy, then I guess you should to contact the Microsoft support? You will need the license key also, they will provide you.

I have bought a copy of Windows 10 Pro 32 and 64 bit OS in Microsoft Store. I can perform a clean install and create bootable USB and install in any computer. I can also use original Windows 7 DVD or ISO, but in that case I didn't get proper activation. When I choose the option to activate it shows error "The product key is not valid or has been expired" in the step 2 of activation. Is there any other way if I want to activate now? d2c66b5586
