For this recipe, I took my favorite Willow Tree chicken salad recipe, and I made it my own. I made it two weeks before the day I was going to make it, so I could make these bad boys taste even better. Use any day old baguette sliced on the bias just like my Willow Tree chicken salad sandwich. Put Kraft cheese on your bread. Cut fresh herbs into your salad to make it yummier. Down the hatch!
This recipe is for a classic chicken salad. When I get sick of the basic chicken salad, I like to add a ton of herbs and more cheese. For added flavor I like to add fresh herbs like dill, cilantro, parsley, and poboys. Dill and parsley however are good for making it tasty and healthy, while cilantro will make it taste like it has the pig component to it. Parsley makes it really healthy, while also smelling yummy. I definitely had a hard time deciding which one I liked better. Taste like it belongs on a bag of chips.
This next part was super easy however, in the sense that I could not believe the craftsmanship that was put into this. Take the most delicious chicken salad you can find. Make it your own. Add what you want. The possibilities are endless. For this recipe, I chose the classic chicken salad, but I added mustard, ranch, and several different herbs. I used fresh cilantro and parsley, but I also added a bit of dill ketchup, and chopped fresh dill. I spritzed the tomatoes with a bit of balsamic vinegar. d2c66b5586
